What you tell us, and what we do with it

A short page, written to be read.
What we collect

Only what the form asks for

Everything we hold about you arrives one way: you type it into the enquiry form and press send. The form asks for your name and phone number, and lets you add an email address, the suburb of the house or pickup, what needs doing, and a message. The optional fields are genuinely optional. Leave them empty and the enquiry still reaches us.

That is the whole list. Nothing else is collected behind the page. There is nothing to sign up for, no login, and no phone line yet, so there are no call recordings either.

Why we collect it

To answer you, and for nothing cleverer

Your enquiry exists so we can reply to it: ask any questions, arrange a time to look at the job, and agree the fixed price in writing. If your enquiry is passed on at all, it goes to a single local provider who can actually do the work, never to a list. That is the full journey.

Your details are never sold, never traded, and never added to a marketing list. One enquiry earns you our reply, not a lifetime of follow-up. There is no newsletter here, and we will not invent one to put you on.

The quiet parts

The field you cannot see, and the things we do not run

The form carries one hidden field, named "website". People never see it, so people never fill it. Automated spam does. Any submission with that field filled is discarded before it reaches anyone. That is our entire defence against spam: no puzzles to solve, nothing asking you to prove you are human.

  • No tracking scripts and no cookies of our own. Nothing runs in your browser to watch you, and there is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
  • Ordinary, anonymous page counts. Our hosting keeps a server-side tally of which pages get viewed, so we can tell a busy guide from a quiet one. It records the page, the country, and whether the visit looks like a person or a bot, never your name, your IP address, or anything that ties a page view back to you.
  • No advertising pixels, no social buttons quietly reporting your visit to somebody else's platform.

Reading this site tells us only that a page was read, never who read it. Only writing to us leaves anything personal behind, and only the words you chose to send.

Your side of it

Asking what we hold, or asking us to let it go

If you want to see what we are holding, or want it gone, write to us through the enquiry form and say it is a privacy question. We will tell you plainly what we have, and if you ask us to delete it, we will. We are, after all, in the business of taking things away properly.
